I must have had some Felix Felicis because I think I'm about to get lucky.

Oh, how I love Harry Potter pick-up lines. Anywhoo, I thought I would just do my review on Where the Wild Things are. So here we go~
This movie was really good. Like I wouldn't mind watching it again. Of course I started to sob in the theater. I have to stop making that a habit.  But it was sad, and it made me want to be a kid again. I am a little rusty on the book, but I think it was an accurate portrayal of the characters. Since it was a "kids" movie, I was left a little confused. Because there are many parts in the movie, where the kid Max, or the monsters could have died. But I guess that says that we as a society are so pessimistic, and children don't think of death. Also there was a lot of violence. There weren't any guns, but at one point there was a "war" and they were throwing dirt balls, and Max told one of the monsters "To knock his legs out." Instantly, some pretty brutal imagery came to mind but thankgoodness not to screen. But if stuff like that doesn't phase you, then I recommend you going to go see it. It was a really great movie, but the ending is sad. And that was where I did most of my sobbing. Don't worry, no one died, well maybe someone's arm...but I am not going to talk about that.
Where the Wild Things are, was a beautifully profound movie, and I recommend you to go see it. It gets an 8.5/10 because not a lot of things were explained, and I was really confused. But hey, the little kid who plays Max was adorable.
