Well at least for another two weeks.
Hey y'all! I haven't blogged in forever! Well now that I have some free time, I can. So what has been going on lately? Not a lot. I mean I have had a bunch of school stuff to do. I just applied for universities yesterday. I know I am kinda late, but hey, at least I got it done. Now I can focus on my portfolio for ryerson, major presentation for data, major presentation and exam for business, and ethics fair for philosophy. :) Plus I am reading a few books to keep my life sane and balanced. I've got At a Loss for Words, by Diane Schoemperlen (not even going to try saying that). It's about a woman, I think, that is a writer, and a depressed insomniac, and I think she talks about her boyfriend, or old boyfriend, the only guy she has ever loved. I will review it after I'm finished. Then I have Border Songs, by James Lynch. Apparently its a good book. So that's why I have it. Again I will review it. And me and my friends did a book exchange besides all the gifts and goodies, and I got, Plato and Platypus walk into a bar. It's a philosophical book. I am hoping it will help me when it comes to philosophy since its my lowest mark this semester. I am so happy I got it. Because it will actually make sense to me rather than having it picked by one of my other friends who doesn't really know of and about philosophy... I guess I am trying to say it will benefit me greatly, and I am lucky I got it--the books were thrown into the middle, and everyone just grabs one that isn't theirs.
Okay, so now that I have basically told you everything that is happening in my life. Time for fashion?
I don't have my January issue yet, (which by the way I have another letter in). So I will just show you a few items that I think are super cute, and I think are really nice for this season.
The first is these wedges from forever21. Now usually I don't wear wedges, but these are a combination of that old 18th century style with modern day fashion. Plus I think they would look great paired with tights and a dress or leggings.
Next, there are these headbands. Now personally I think they are a little too dressy to go out to school with, but people have been wearing them. So I think as long as you have a minimalist look, the headband can embellish your outfit.
Okay, so next we have knit sweaters. Yes, they are ugly, but hey, they are cute when you squint. Kidding!
Personally, I like them. They will keep you warm for these Canadian winters we are having.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE jewelry. Especially the kind that you wear to make yourself look really fancy and sparkle. So this is a a bracelet I think that would be great paired with a LBD or if you're going to a club or party, a sleeveless loose top with a skirt or anything really.
It's unusual, and that usually makes for the best kind of jewelry.
So I think that's about it. I don't want to give too many of my lovely style tips away or else I won't have anything left for my blog. So I thank you for making it this far. And currently my favorite song is Sean Kingston's Letting Go. Speaking of which, I totally need to make my blog all wintery again. So I will work on that hopefully. Keep it real! A.
