Chatroulette

So I posted a video of a guy last weekish and he was singing about everyone who showed up on chat roulette, anyways, he made another video, and I thought I would post it. :)

So I wasn't totally off with the ANTM list. Because Ren did go home, however I think if Tatianna doesn't change her ways, she may be going home next week. AND by the way, can't wait for it because the models will be vampires! It's going to look very cool. So make sure you check it out, and watch for the blog post tommorrow.

I was so off.

So I am watching America's Next Top Model right now, and I was soooo wrong. The people who I thought was going to make it are getting kicked off right now. WOW. So I am going to make a new list, of all those I think are going to make it far, and those who are not.

Gabrielle is going home. And Naduah went home. So as you can see from before this was my original list:

So the unfortunate thing is that ANTM shows on Saturday, and I usually like to blog about it on Friday. So there may be posts like these for when I actually get to see it, then blog. But I guess that's what I am supposed to do anyway. So I will talk to you guys later, :D

You Want It, You Got It

There is sooooo much I need to catch up on! I have no clue where to start. But because I have been bugged this whole recent week, I need to post something. This blog will just be a compilation of different things. So it’s march break right now, and I am suuuper lazy, so lazy I didn’t feel like working on this till now. Anyway how has everyone been? Good. I know tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day so good luck? I am going to change the songs in the playlist, I have a tonne more new ones that I would love to share. And yeah let’s get started. Oh by the way I am going to start underlining key words, because I rant a lot, so instead of having to skip everything, now you’ll know what to get from the many, many paragraphs. 

 

So I am so excited to say last night (I wrote this last week) I received my April issue of ELLE Canada magazine. AND GUESS WHAT?! My letter was in it! ARGHHHH, I totally made an announcement in CAPS on Facebook, and got lots of comments/questions the next day. I was soooooo happy. I opened the magazine so slow, and eventually got to it, and there my name was: Amelia Chand, Kingston Ont. WOW. The sad thing is the same issue did it again and featured “nude” items. I think I am going to keep writing letters to the magazine, and hopefully one day I will write for them. I can be in charge of the ELLE World section, so I get to travel.

Yeah so isn’t that amazing news to hear? Uhmm, I think I will continue to write letters and hopefully someone would notice my amazing abilities and offer me a job.

Another accomplishment, I don’t know if I mentioned this but when I went to Toronto for DECA Provincials, I came back with a medal! I won it for Top 20 Oral in my Principles of Hospitality category. Unfortunately I need to find a new category for next year... I may do fashion.

I think I want a new layout. I am not into really nice warm colours. So be expecting some pop. 

So here is your monthly fashion report.

Outfits: Pair up a cute floral dress with a jean jacket with gladiator sandals or light coloured flats. Keep the jewellery minimal. This look would be great for the spring/summer. A fitted leather jacket with an attention-grabber top underneath, paired with skinny jeans or amazing leggings. Grab a nice set of heels or ankle booties, and you’ll be on your way for the night.

Graphic prints are a must in both your house and your closet. It can be anything. 

I learn new beauty secrets all the time. I think it’s time for me to give back. I am going to share with you remedies that will cure your everyday ailments. Let’s start with one: Dry Skin.

You don’t need to go out there and purchase expensive products for your skin, the most effective remedies are often natural. So here are some ways you can cure dry skin. Vaseline has been out there forever, and it has many purposes. If you put it on your face sparingly, then sleep, when you wake up and cleanse your skin should be supple. However it is not a product that you want on your face when you go to school. Another good product is Vitamin E Oil. I did a review on Bio Oil a while back and it’s basically the same thing. It will probably cost you around 20 dollars. But it really helps with imperfections and dry skin. Olay Complete is great for everyday use, and it won’t break the bank. Olive Oil is great for moisturizing all over. What you don’t want to do is moisturize really dry/dead skin, it won’t make a difference. So you need to exfoliate. There are different exfoliation methods. Baking soda and a little water makes a good one. This is also a great idea.

L’Oreal came out with a roller for your makeup. I laughed when I saw it because it is exactly like one you would use for painting. I don’t think this is a great makeup idea because it’s meant for flat surfaces. There is no way you would be able to get into the nooks and crannies. Stick with brushes/sponges.

When my birthday comes up I am so getting Clarins makeup. The Everlasting Foundation looks like something I need.

ANTM

 OMJESUS. So Cycle 14 has started and I am sooooo excited. Thank goodness it came out because I was losing inspiration. Here is the run down:

All I can say is there are a lot of fine baby mamas. So they only picked 12 girls that were there, however I feels some of the girls that were cut don’t deserve it. There was a girl from Pakistan who went there against her mom’s will, and she thought she could make it far, but she didn’t get through. So I feel that was kinda off, because she wanted to prove that she was more, and that Pakistani girls could do the same. When they went to New York they found this girl Ren. She doesn’t shave her armpits. That was kinda gross, but she says it’s for women’s rights, which is silly because a lot of the time modelling forgets all about that. Anyways, she is a free spirit, and ugly so I don’t think she will get too far. Anywhoo, the girls that will be part of the cycle are Ren, Naduah, Tatianna, Simone, Raina, Brenda, Krista, Alexandra, Alasia, Jessica, Angelea, Anslee, and Gabrielle. I already mentioned Ren, so Naduah is wicked. Like she grew up in a religious sex cult, so the fact that she is alive and strong is amazing, I have good feelings about her. Tatianna reminds me of the girl with the burns from last cycle... I forget her name. Anyway I don’t see her getting too far in the competition. Simone is a sorority girl, however after that makeover you wouldn’t think so. I have to see how they do in the next photo shoot to make predictions. Raina (omg these girls have amazing names) has amazing eyebrows. She was the ugly duckling when she was a kid, so she is ugly-pretty. She will definitely make top 5 or so. Brenda is one of the baby mamas. She is a pretty ginger. Brenda is a bitch. Like really. That’s all I have to say. I already hate her, and she will be gone very soon. Krista is okay, she is plus sized and fierce. But, I don’t really like her. ALASIA, GUUUUUURRRL. Jessica had her kid at 16 or 17. And yeah she is pretty but I don’t think she has model potential. Angelea was from a previous cycle, and all she does is fight. I hate it, she is so negative, and it’s going to appear in her pictures, again. Anslee, I am getting “hick” vibes from her. I don’t really like her. Gabrielle is pretty. And she knows what she’s doing. I think she is a secret weapon that the girls are not going to be ready for. So the episode ended with them finding out that they will be doing a nude photo shoot. I thought this was kind of soon, but it is a challenge that the girls will really need to work hard at. So here are my predictions for elimination.

So I will just go in chronological order.

1. Tatianna or Anslee.

2. Krista or Angelea.

3. Simone or Alexandra.

4. Ren or Alasia

5. Brenda.

6. Raina

7. Naduah or Gabrielle.

I will let you know if my predictions were right in the following weeks. 

Here’s a little segment that I thought I would create for my blog. Uhmmm, I am just going to write down some things that pop into my head while watching Paranormal Activity, because I heard it was scary, and I sure do love a thrill. Oh by the way I saw The Lovely Bones, I will make sure to give a review of that after this, or before. (I’m writing in advance so my spatial sense will be a bit confusing now)

Okay, so overall thoughts on the movie... Wow, I feel like this is going to be so crappy. There isn’t a professional camera filming... it’s filmed in the 1st person... so this guy is walking around with the camera. And also they are doing a lot of talking, and I haven’t seen anything terrifying yet. Yep... a lot of talking. By the way this is almost ten minutes into the movie, and nothing has happened yet. Jeez, my typos are more exciting. Night #1: Lamest night of life. Dudes being dudes. I say that like I know. Man, even the actor (if that’s what you want to call him) is playing the “scary music.” Okay, so a psychic comes to the house to try to determine the “haunting.” And the guy (actor) is sceptical. Ughh, so I watched the DaVinci Code today and I think that’s why the movie is taking two years to load. She can’t run or hide. There’s a demon in the house. 0___0 LOL, he was like all serious and the girl looked so scared, and then he was like “OKAY I’m going to give you...” all high-pitched. This guy is going to do everything the psychic told him NOT to do. I really should just leave the comp, and wait till it loads, but last time I did that, the movie stopped working. Night #3...The door moved. As if people were terrified of this movie. Night #5, something goes bump in the night. I totally could have fell asleep in the theatre if I was to watch this. Okaokaoaokaoak, so there was a really loud thud. I only jumped a bit because the girl screamed. THAT’S ALL. “Do you have something to say in English this time.” This dude is ignorant. Oh creepy creepy, the girl gets possessed. The ouiji board catches on fire. Conflict=Negative energy. “You know anyone names Dina or Diane...?” The girl is like “no...” with the most confused look on her face. The waiting for this thing to buffer is killing me. Jeez. Okay so I got to the footsteps.

If you’re wondering why I stopped reporting so abruptly it’s because it was taking WAAAAAY too long to watch the movie. But here is a better review:

Fantastic Mr. Fox

This movie was great. I loved it so. I think whoever worked on it did a great job. My favourite part is when they say “different.” Yeah so go watch it. This movie is based on Roald Dahl’s book, and I think the movie captured that mystical sense of humour. 

NOXZEMA

So I went on an hour-excursion today, because it was nice out. And I went to the dollar store and I found this cleansing product call Noxzema. It was only 2 bucks, so of course I got it. I went to Shoppers and they had the exact same thing for ten dollars. Whoever buys this product from there is getting ripped off. So Noxzema has been around for a while. And I found out about it by watching Opera. Yeah this commercial I found is from the 80s. So you know the product has to be good. Okay, well let me break it down for you. I think the Original version of the product would be nicer, because I have the plus moisturizers one, and I don’t really care for it, since it makes my skin feel kind of waxy. But other than that it still has that tingle that you want to wake up to. I recommend the Original, unfortunately you can get a mini travel version instead of the tub from the Dollar Store. 

Almay Facial Soap

I also got this from the Dollar Store a while back. I really like it. It gently cleanses and is part of my morning routine.

If you haven’t noticed I am obsessed with facial products. 

I took this one night, and thought it was cool.
